Boomie was my sisters cat, he adopted my sisters family about two years ago.  His full name was Boomerange (Boomie for short), so called as he just kept coming back. 

Boomie was a lovely cat, really friendly and just loved my niece and nephew to bits.  He started to be unwell this week, he was not his usual self, prefering to stay indoors quietly.  Usually he was out chasing the other neighbourhood cats off his patch and keeping the local mice and birds on high alert.  He was PTS on Saturday 22nd, when tests showed he had leukemia, his glands and organs were all enlarged and very sore.  The vets said he wouldn't recover, and would only get worse.

So long Boomie, say hi to Fagin for me.
