with a heavy heart i am broken hearted to have had my sole mate pts this afternoon, a few of you have been following my thread on the health board under dog losing weight post so will see the fight we have had, all happened in a total of 4 weeks, vets are saying they are sure tucker had lymphosacoma & a very aggresive form as his weight loss went from 26kg to 17 kg in 4 wk, we have taken him to a pet cemetary & are having him cremated
tucker is pain free & at peace now, run free my man, see you again sometime

Shirley, my heart goes out to you. I have followed your posts, and you tried so hard for your boy. Some things we cannot beat, however hard we try.

Take care

thanks everyone for your wonderful tributes to tucker, it is helping me come to terms with losing my sole mate & bestest buddy, tucker had a special place in my heart him being my 1st homebred dog & bestest friend, we have been through a lot & had lots of fun travelling up & around the country at shows & for walks, it is these memories that i will treasure forever & will not dwell on his passing but think of the fantastic life he has had here, just short of his 12th birthday...& pain free at last
i am a broken person right now but can look back on tuckers life & what a good life he had. my sole mate in heaven & running free at the bridge
run free tucker, missing you lots fella but know you didnt like to see mummy crying so i will treasure you in my heart always & try not to cry, when i feel down i will think of the fun we had
love mummy daddy & bethany xxxxxxxx

I am truly sorry to read about Tucker..
Be rest assured that Tucker will indeed be running free at the bridge... Untill you get there of course :-)

I lost my charlie to Lymphoma almost 2 years ago and i thought my whole world would end... It was the painful decison to let him go. I now know that it was the most precious gift i could have given him.
Murphy my old boy left me in November and agin my world crashed down.
I am learing to live without them... So i know it will get easier for you. I promise.

May Tucker run free at the bridge. Rest easy

Much love

Such a nice tribute,  such a wonderful way to remember Tucker by.

He had a wonderful owner, and the pain that you feel is a testiment to that.  He knows you love him, and you will be together again, as he catches sight of you, and runs as fast as any ESP can!!!!!!

Hugs during this tough time for you.

Again, Like Hamish's thread, I have been following Tuckers, and so very sad to see that you finally lost the fight. I looked at his tribute - beautiful - and what a gorgeous gorgeous boy. You couldn't have done any more and did the best thing you could in the end.

I too have felt 'broken' quite a few times, and a very good description it is, but it really will get better. Your boy could not have been better loved and cared for.

thanks for your posts everyone, it does help me so much knowing people out there do know what we have been through these last few weeks & understand how we feel, tuckers tribute is a very beautiful & moving emotional page, i love it & am now beginning to be able to look at it now & again without breaking down... yes tucker was a special special boy of whom is so sadly missed but knowing he is now in a better place is a lot of comfort to me.
nothing in life is ever easy & saying goodbye to tucker is 1 of the hardest things i have ever had to do in my life.
tucker has grandchildren due soon in sweden & hope to be flying out to see them once they are out & about, guess what i will be bringing home later in the year !!!!!!!! tucker only ever had 2 daughters to 1 of my bitches so will mean a lot to get a sibling & more important to keep those lines going
