A nice addition to rainbow bridge posts

Just a thought but as admin is doing so many changes around here I wonder if they would enable a picture to go with the rainbow bridge posts as I think we all get so involved sometimes when people come on here about an ill dog who then passes on it might be nice to actually see that dog in its tribute.

Don't know what others think. I would prefer it just to show in the post instead of a link.

Might be a silly idea but the tucker post got me thinking.

TBH I very, very rarely look at Rainbow Bridge threads nor usually post on them as a rule because it hurts so much but whole heartedly agree it would be a moving gesture for the owners of loved ones lost and those who have shared in their stories.

I think it would be a wonderful idea to be able to post your lost pets on the Rainbow Bridge posts, apart from your avatar.

I read them once in a while, but always go back to the one of my Joy. It would be nice to have her pic there.

Thanks Mark. I have now put a pic of Mouse on my Rainbow bridge post.
Can I just ask can the picture only be added once the post is posted as new RB posts have come up but have no pictures on them.
Just wondering if you could tell everyone how to do it.

To add a picture.

Add the post as normal.
Then view the post and click the "attach" link to upload your picture. Make sure you check the box marked "Embed".

If you have added a post in the past, you can go back and upload a picture now if you wish.

Mark, might it be an idea to add a sticky to the top of the Rainbow Bridge section about how to add a picture..? Either people just don't have pics or they aren't aware of the option (I think Anna and Lea are the only ones to add a pic so far, unless I've missed some :-D
