I don't seem to be able to go back a page on threads which grow longer than single page, so I cna only see the later posts, which makes it hard to reply or follow if you need to refer to page 1.  Is this just me, anyone any ideas how to fix it?

i get this, but all i do is open the post, go back out and re-open straight away and this usually fixes the problem!
I spend too much time in here :-D

Just use the tiny arrows at the top left of the pages :-)

That is just my problem, Melodysk, clicking on the tiny arrows, or clicking on the page number makes no difference, it refreshes the screen straight back to page 2 (or 3 if a very long post!) just cannot get into earlier pages.  However if I find a post through a search which is a"pg 1" it opens the page then no trouble.  Wondered if it was a common problem or maybe relate to non compatibility with a Mac?

Gwen i get the same problems, and pressing the little arrows just refreshes the page i'm already on.One thing that helped was to get the maximum posts per page in the 'options' menu,so they rarely get to more than one page long.
I dont have a mac.

What works for me is to click on Forum, then Mark Old, then go to Active Topics. Clicking on the thread title will then take you (well, it does me!) to the start of the thread. :-)
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Thanks everyone, glad it is not jsut me.  Will try the suggestions.  Being lazy with my computer I have never altered any of the standard borad settings, just put "CD" in the address bar, and opn up the forum as it appears.  Will investigate options etc.
bye
Gwen
