Hi all,

We're hoping to connect with a few breeders who are planning litters with solid coloured (non-brindle) whippets for puppies ready in early 2009. We're especially interested in blue ones but not sold on any specific look!  Because of commitments, we cannot take a dog home until after the new year, but that just gives us a lot of time to prepare. =)

I have spent several hours perusing pedigrees and photos and breeder links and have contacted a bunch. Not the best method, as I could really use some recommendations from current whippet ownersbreeders/!

On the site I gave you, there is a link which gives you a list of lots of breed clubs If you get in touch with them you should get some help

That is a shame that they do not have a puppy coindinator but why not buy the year book. They make an interesting read anyway and at least it should give you a list of members and then compare that to the litters listed on the KC list.  If they are Accredited Breeders it will be flagged up if they are Breed Club members anyway.

Why not go along to a championship dog show or breed show and meet people within the breed.
