Ells Bells,
I have seen an advert for "Spockerdor"..pups
Sorry for my ignorance but I have never heard of this breed. I though I knew my gundogs. It sounds like a spaniel/cocker/labrador mix???
Care to educate me??
Thanks
A house is not a home with out hairs
Sounds as though you have hit the mix spot on!!! I'm always intrigued as to how they make up these names!! The pups advertised are obviously just a cross breed or to use the old fashioned word - a mongrel!!.
Whether or not people are breeding these as they think they might have the perfect gundogs - who knows but I have certainly never heard of them.
Hi little jane,i also live in hampshire,Park Gate. They have an excellent club in Gosport, held in one of the army training sites, just type in gun dog training hampshire and it will come up on google.

I've just been reading something thats mentioned a Sprockerdor. You did hit the nail on the head as to what cross it is.
These names are coming from the States and are becoming popular to call a cross/mutt/mongrel by a silly name in order to make some money. Same goes for the Teacup dogs.
Makes my blood boil, so us English take it on and start doing the same over here.
RIP Bentley - such a wonderful dog to live with, never forgotten.

Can we keep this on topic please. This has nothing to do with the original question.

What type of gundog do you have as there are various specialitiy clubs depending on what gundog i.e retrievers or hpr's
smile you are owned by a gsp!!
Are you anywhere near twyford the local Gamekeeper who trains gun dogs is advertising that he has a new puppy training course due to start? Advert is in the window of the Twyford Post office. Oh and my mate has a sproker its a springer, cocker cross and you should see it catch rabbits they make great gun dogs.
