I have just got my first show dog i have dogs for years but this will be the first one of mine i have shown, she is only 9 wks old at the moment so not in any hurry to take her to classes yet but would like to find out if anyone knows of any in the Bristol area,  My mum and dad are showing me alot about training them for the show ring but i feel the puppy will benefit from going to classes as well. I do show my mums dogs but never had a puppy to show any advice would be great

There is one in Backwell, south of Bristol, West Country Dog Club.  It's well run by friendly people and they have 2 shows a year.  The next one is at the Hand Stadium in Clevedon on 21st Sept.

There is Frampton Cotterell held at Henfield Hal, by Bitterwell Lake, going toward Westerleigh over the M4 and left.  It is from 8pm.

Tuesday night at Henfield hall at 8pm.  One person you could ring is secretary of Bristol & District Canine Society.  Probably find details on the Prodogs website under Open shows.

Hi, theres also one in filton by the dolphin swimming pool, we use that one, its ran on a tuesday night from 7.30, its in the hall opposite the swimming pool.

Thank you we went to the ring craft in filton last night with our pup and will be attending there from now on there was a couple of people we have known for years that attend so made it less stressful lol

Our girls in season at the mo but once shes out we will be going back
