Does anyone know the make/makers/suppliers of a dog ID tag that is like a flat metal sleeve that you can slide the collar thru and it just fits flat on the leather. Zan has just been rescued from the savage crate that got hold of him and would not let go (he has a bone shaped tag at present and as he turned round in his crate for a post lunch snooze the tag got betwwen the crate bars and he was stuck) he pulled his head out of a loose 'house collar' so no real harm done but I want to change tags to something safer. I saw ads for these but no idea where.
Thanks in advance, Chris

yes i have brought these for my dogs - but you can only use with the flat bukle type collars otherwise they dont slide on.

I've always thought it safer to remove the collar when the dog is in the crate :-)

Ive found these are excellent, you can get them for any collar and they guarantee them for life too :-)

Thanks for the links, I knew someone would know :-)
ClaireyS, thanks, I hadn't seen these before but I have ordered one- mainly cos they do paypal (!), but I will keep the other link in reserve.
for cocopop, his crate is left open 95% of the time, only shut when non-dog visitors come in (not very often thank goodness) but he often puts himself in for a snooze as he doesn't have another bed outside the crate.
anyway, thanks
Chris

dangly tags are a nightmare, my boys have poncy heart shaped ones on their "posh" collars and one evening we heard a big crash, went into the dogs room and Fagan was sat on his bed with his feeding stand hanging from his collar eek

OMG! slight panic I imagine. :-o
I must have had a 'senior moment' when I posted. Dog is Zuma, Zan was previous GSD and I was trying to think where the tag off his collar was as a temp measure so the name came out wrong. My own fault for choice of names but 1st was Zigi, 2nd was Zan, this fellas dad is Zasko so he really had to be another Z.... but I do get confused at times.
