my girl is due any day now and i've bought the petnap whelping kit. i must say i'm quite impressed particularly with the stethoscope which is so sensitive - i'm a novice to all this but even i can hear the heartbeats! it also has sheets for filling in temperature, puppy charts and i.d. tags for as soon as they're born, digital thermometer (very accurate) - just LOADS of stuff. feeding bottles, sterile swabs, gloves - honestly just too much to mention.
wow, didn't realise that you could buy something like this all in one kit! I will look into buying one for next litter.
Some of the kits i have looked at online don't seem to be worth the £50+ price they are charging, but for ease of running around shops etc, maybe worth it, i've not looked at th PetNap one, i will go have a nosey!!
Life Is For Living!

i have used one of the whelping kits with my girl whose pups are 3 1/2 wks old now i paid £35 for mine found it very usefull and it saved me a lot of time going round various places for the all the stuff.

I too have this one and think that it is worth the money i spent (£35 I think)
I spend too much time in here
yes thats roughly how much they are but it just gives you extra ideas of what you MAY need as well. i've found the small sterile swabs particularly useful after taking my girls temp. during this week. the charts they give you are great.
I will definitely be getting one for my next planned litter next year.
It is so nice breing able to get everything all together for a change.
I thought it looked good also the price is quite good too
Thank goodness for you all on CD.
