Hi All, the credit crunch is hitting in our household now and we are looking at saving some pennies (every one counts). OH is now looking at how much the 4 legged members of our household are costing (oh no says I!). I am a member of RC breeder club so get a discount and I am happy with the results, 15kg lasts a month _~£30. He bought a bag of Kirkland signature lamb & rice 15kg at Costco ~ £18.30 per bag and wants me to swap them over? Any experiences of this food (good or bad) will be gratefully recieved.

Don't forget your R.C from the Breeders Club will be 17.5kg not 15 kg so will make it alittle cheaper.(Well I had 17.5 kg bags before going over to BARF)

I've used KS once before, read the back in costco and thought it sounded good so bought a bag to try. The dogs liked it and it didn't upset their tums. As far as I remember the label was quite misleading though, lamb was the first ingredient listed, but only because they broke the rice up into different types - if added together rice is the main ingredient. I haven't used it again but thought it fine for a middle of the range food.

I used the chicken and rice one and my dog really liked it.  Then he had a cruciate op and lost a lot of condition so I mixed it with AG Prestige but have never come off the 'changeover' period and he still has both foods mixed.  Not sure if you should do this but it suits him well and also saves me money (would be much more expensive to just feed Prestige).
Another day, another lesson learned :-)
