My 18 week old puppy lost a canine tooth the other day. I think its normal as the other one is coming through. However when he's been chewing things his gums are bleeding. Is this ok or should i take any hard chews off him for now??

I gave my pup more hard things for him to chew on when he had teeth coming through (his gums did bleed sometimes too).
He enjoyed frozen whole carrots, I imagine the cold is nice for the gums the same as human babies enjoy chilled teething rings.

Frozen kongs go down well with teething puppies, all mine have had bleeding gums when teething.

My girl and her brother decided to lose their teeth together on a play date- blood everywhere! She is pretty much done now, but the harder and colder the better- frozen carrots are brilliant. She also liked to chew plastic milk bottles which ended up covered in blood- quite disturbing but she didn't care one little bit! I definitely woulnd't take the hard chews from him.
