Listening to breeder friends I get the impression there may be a new strain of Canine Herpes Virus doing the rounds.  Merial seem to be the only producers of an inoculation for CHV but I am not sure how up to date the info is.  The site seems to have published nothing since 2005.  Any one who has any info to share would be gratefully appreciated.

did you know that chv is comes from kennel cough virus.which i didnt untill i went on a semair last year

I Know the two are connected but have you heard of a 'new strain' of CHV.  As your seminar was last year you may have been told something if this is correct.
