my dog has  has sore eyes today and was told that it could be worth trying golden eye ointment . Is there a particular version only suitable for dogs or can the human one be used on them too?

ive used golden eye ointment  on one of mine with great results too.Brolene is good also..

Don't forget a lot depends on what the eye problem is. My dog had a sore eye the other day and i automatically assumed it was just a normal eye infection, luckily my mum made me take her to the vets as it turned out to be an ulcer, which some drops would make worse.
