I don't believe it! Its 2.45 and fireworks are already going off round here, its not even bloody dark yet
sooo annoying, i hate this time of year, my poor tess hates it even more, we have to watch tv sometimes till midnight just to down the sound of them, soon be over, hopefully.this might sound nasty but, i was quite pleased on sat night when it was pouring down here,

Oh dear!!! That is really early, whats the point of setting them off so early, they look so much better in the dark!! Think of it this way though at least when they went off means a few less to go off later...
let them waste their money,
> let them waste their money,
Definatly!!!

They're driving me (and the dogs) up the wall! We've had them for the last week!! We stay right next to a beach and the little nutters with their cars have been lobbing them out of their car windows onto the beach! Dogs are not frightened of them, but they wind them up something terrible! We missed a friends birthday party at the weekend because it wouldn't be fair on the dogs (or our neighbours) to leave them with that racket going on.

They are still going fast and furious here. Poor Shady is pacing, bursting for a wee but won't go out.
Milo luckily doesn't care and has been out and ignored them completely.

For the first time in 10 years I am having a quiet Firework period

Its not good the reason why

My old girl spent half opf oct and Nov and Newyear Barking as she hated them. And the other 2 would join in

She died in December.
Now my other 2 are just ignoring them

Lea
3 months 18 days to train for London Marathon!!!!!!!
Day 3 of training gone well :@)

Same here Lea

Missie hated them and would shiver, shake, pant and hide under the table. As I listen to them now I am thinking how she would have hated tonight, and how Maddie would pick up on it and be unsettled herself. But all is calm indoors despite the noise of next doors' fireworks and they are all fast asleep around me now, even Maddie.

They've been going off round here for the last 2 hours non-stop, added to that the local church has been trying to drown them out with their bells for just as long.
Full bladders all round
its been every night for a couple of weeks in Berkshire and although my boys dont seem conserned inside the house they dont like going in the garden after dark
Although i try to make them go about 10.30pm they were still going last night until gone 11.00pm so it will be a early morning call for me tomorrow i supose.
newfs are like a box of chocolates , you can't have just one.

A couple of years ago I was taking the dogs out for their first walk of the day. A firework was set of at...8.35am... Just about says it all!
The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
As some one very nicely pointed out to us, it is illegal to set of fire works between the hours of 23.30 and 7am. So why worry????
That's ok then....try enforcing that one then clever cloggs!!!!
