Don't bother for Crufts - Birmingham (all of them :-)) is already full.

Its nice to be important but more important to be nice

Also tried to get a budget price room for Crufts, all full, best I could do was get a Day's Inn room near to the NEC for £60, didnt want to pay that but it saves driving for hours to sit in that awful queue in the morning of Crufts so it was my treat to me :-)

Theres a Holiday Inn near me in Birmingham only 20 - 25 mins from the NEC

Holiday Inn Birmingham M6, Junction 7 -  0870 400 9009‎
Prices from £32.50

that does not give much hope then if you qualify for crufts for the first time at the last minute and need accomodation lol

Managed to get a £9 room the night before UK Toydog, chuffed with that I am :-)  rang my friend and then tried to get one for her as her comp had died and guess what just 5 mins after I booked mine the £9 ones were gone for that night, its just a matter of luck getting one, usually I miss out so I was sooooo pleased I didnt this time!

Managed to get a room 5 mins away from NEC for £40 a room, sleeps 2, stayed there last year, and it was great, a bar and cavery joined on to, and great grub with a contential breakfast.
One is never enough!!

I really like the Holiday Inn Express at the NEC, but hate the ptirces for crufts week!  For LKA it is £59 per room, for Crufts £145!  I know it is supply and demand, but that just seems like profiteering.

I think i'm going to drive up there and back on the day, unless my friend will put me up who lives in Northants.
Its going to be a good 4 hours drive each way which includes getting in and parking.
I've been told i'm mad, but i'm not paying silly prices as we are showing on the last day.
RIP Bentley - such a wonderful dog to live with, never forgotten.
