firstly i apolagise if I have put this in the wrong section  but wasn't quite sure where to put it .

Right  I have a major heart problem  where I have a  ICD  ( Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator )  implated in my chest, With this defibrillator I have experienced many shocks In the 2 yrs Ive had it 32 in total.
Now this sounds very odd but sometimes  prior to it  going off my dog ( a great dane )  starts crying and yelping  normally me thinking he needs a wee and  then  I collapse . 

Is it possible he can sense something is going to happen ... I really dont know wether its coincidence  ..

When you go into Arythmia your body will send out hormones to assist very likely he can pick up on these, the canine communication structure being much more atune to the tiniest subtle changes in our smell.
   Lots of dogs are now trained to assist Humans with chronic conditions to assist and detect/alert

saw a programme on seziure alert dogs on the tv, and these dogs could all alert their owners in different ways before a seziure was going to happen, some 20mins before others 10 mins before, one dog would come infront of his owner and stare intentley at her she knew to get to somewhere of safety before it happend, if they where out and about in town he would start gently nipping her clothes to alert her as he could not get her attention,
the other would give a paw to his owner and nudge her if that did not work he would bounce around her and try and stop her from moving,
so it is possible your dog is picking up on the signals before you so take notice

I normally wake and let him out    thinking he wants a wee  as hes getting on abit    but  it  happens alot when I  go to let him out . 

I saw some dogs on This Morning recently who were actually trained to react to seizures of their owners they give a warning anything from 10-30mins in advance, so absolutely possible that your dog is giving you a warning, I would listen if I were you.

He certainly is! Epilepsy and Cancer have been given alot of media attention but Liverpool University college placed articles in the British Medical Journal about dogs that sensed their owners going into Diabetic Hypoglyceamia too, the BMJ has also published papers regarding dogs recognising suffering in patients and imenent death.
Have a little google, I would definately put this forward as an interesting case for those doctors researching this.
Your lad may be able to vicariuosly help others too

Yes definately possible.
He can sense changes in you that even you wont notice, they have been trained to detect allsorts now from cancer to epilepsy so far.  But I am sure with time they will move on to heart attacks and strokes and god knows what else.
