What do people use to 'dye' their dogs? I saw a 'shocking pink' one on The Dog Whisperer last night and it made me wonder what they use that isn't dangerous to the dog. Why they would want to do it beats me.

Usually groomers use food dyes, which are safe. However I have no idea why they want to dye dogs.

Eager to learn ( and help if I can)

You can also get "coat chalks" in lots of pastel and bright colours, and in the USA some ranges of doggy dyes.
You can buy safe dyes if you look on the internet, a few years back I dyed my American cocker's topknot green and spikey for the Christmas party (he was a punk cocker!) and wanted something that would wash straight out again afterwards! I can't imagine why people would want to dye the whole dog either though - ugh!
(he was a punk cocker!)LOL.....Very Good!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year xxx
