Hi, I orded my whelping box and recived it on tuesday how do people find the floor in it?
am impressed with it but worried about the floor !
My bitch is due to go pop any day now!

I have a linkabord whelping box and I use some rubber matting to go on the boards on the floor and then put vetbed on top of that. I found that my bitch tends to slip as she jumps in and out and she hates slippery floors. Once the rubber matting was in place I had no problems at all.

where do you get your matting from?

I had some rubber mats from an old car that I sold. I always keep the mats in case they come in handy!!! I just disinfected them and popped them in the whelping box.

I just put a piece of lino in it exactly the same size as the box and then put newspaers and fleece over that

What do you mean by linkaboard- do you mean the cardboard ones?

No it is a plastic type one that you can disinfect and use again and again.
