We need to get an Orthopedic bed for Sasha as she will be cage rested for 6 weeks (broken pelvis).
I have had a look in the internet but I thought I would ask if anybody here can recommend a company/make?

Have you thought about trying a Dunlop Latex pillow? They are around £15 each, but as I suffer greatly with arthritis(in the last 3 years I have had both hips, a knee replaced twice and an Op on my shoulder!) I have a memory foam mattress and Dunlopilla pillows...just a thought...they're very good at supporting without being too harsh or collapsing like an ordinary pillow does? I got mine from Argos, they probably still do them and are readily available??

Had a look at Argos, they do a Silentnight Latex pillow for £19.99 same thing I think??

hmmm... She is a Leo so a pillow might be slightly small for her to lay on ... we would need 6 at least I think...

I don't know how much you want to spend but I get mine from Mammoth dog beds. I have four of them, two sofas and two rectanglar beds with the orthopedic mattress. The covers are completely removable for washing and if you buy the microsuede the hair doesn't hang on as much as it does on fleece or other fabrics. My dogs share with my husband and after two years the mattress is as supportive as when it arrived - no compressing into a thin thing. I have goldens, my friend has one for her rottie dog so not quite as big as a leo but still 45-50Kg of dog plus my husband so it's a decent weight test.

Shipping is about the same for one bed or three beds if you phone so if you have any friends...

I bought two of the Mammoth dog beds (with orthopaedic mattresses) on Lori's recommendation.  I have spent a fortune on dog beds over the years but, although the Mammoth ones aren't cheap, they are the only ones that I have felt are value for money.  My dogs love them and now generally choose to sleep on them rather than the sofas!  I bought them over a year ago and, like Lori's, the mattresses have retained their original shape...and I have a Chow X Rottie and a Newfie so should be more than suitable for a Leo

Mammoth beds look good but unfortunately we can not wait for it to be shipped over as we really need the bed especially for next two weeks when she is kept as still as possible.

Not cheap but will be right size and will be here when we need it so I do not care.

They also make human ones so I hope it will be good quality and worth the money spent.
They also gave us 24h delivery for free when they heard the bed is for our baby who is not well.
