Can anyone tell me where I can get a circular feeder for a large litter The sort that looks a bit like a flying saucer. Cheers

THESE are excellent, but pricey, however will stand the test of time.

Not sure about round ones.  In the early stages of weaning I used baking trays for mine :-)
Why bite when a simple growl will do ;-)

Thanks but its the other circular type I am after that is raised in the middle. I started off with shallow baking trays but have now moved them up to a circular feeder. I have 10 of them and one is not enough really but I prefer the style of these.

Don't know if you have a Batleys' warehouse near you, but that's where a friend got hers from :-)
Also, like Teri said, a large baking tray or a meat tray, is good.
I used 4 little double ones, easy to balance on your arms - that is till a dog jumps up and you raise your arm out of the way!!!! then they eat from the floor!  LOL

we have some old piglet feeders (which is what these are based on originally) that we use and sometimes you see them at farm sales going quite cheap.

I can picture the type you mean but don't know where you'd get one (or what they call 'em LOL).  How about a jelly mould - I've seen them in that shape (in crocketts from memory)

Or just put a couple of deeper round trays down with an upside down heavy bowl in the middle ...... (trying to be creative now :-D )

This the type you mean?  http://www.doghealth.co.uk/dogbowls.htm#Puppy%20feeders.  Aargh, just noticed they are out of stock.  Sorry!
If you're not in too much of a hurry there's one on ebay in the USA http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Multiple-Dog-Puppy-Litter-Stainless-Steel-Feeder-Bowl-S_W0QQitemZ300184957083QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item300184957083&_trksid=p3286.m63.l1177

LOL @ Crocketts :-)

I found this type of bowl - completely different from what you are looking for yet might do the job if you are looking to make it a fairer meal for the pups.

I'm sorry this is not a helpful post but you've gotta love the internet.  I did a quick search under pig feeder (just killing time waiting the kettle to boil) and found this automatic one.  You can imagine some puppies could just lie under this all day!! :-)

Actually try this one - you can order through Amazon for £7.59 it seems

Or here is a UK one .  Here is a much cheaper one

LOL! I was just on that site and missed it completely!

I'd be dangerous with an automatic feeder.  I'd also be a lot fatter :-)

The UK one is quite abit dearer isnt it. I did find one at £10 but out of stock. Am off to Amsterdam All Winners next week so might see what they have.
Did look for piglet feeders but couldnt find any.
