My puppies are now 8 weeks old small breed and they have still not got their front teeth.  The two I am keeping have been seen by the vet for the jabs and the vet said she had never seen it before.  You can see them however they are under the skin not fully through.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I had the opposite thing with my last litter the teeth were all through by 3 weeks.  I suppose it is just a case of slower development.

My youngest sister had no teeth through at all by 18 months, and her Mum was told they would come through when ready which they did, so if they are there they will eventually come in.

I was just curious as I admit this is my first litter of the little ones and everyone keeps telling me they should be through.  They were 5 days premature so maybe thats why.  It isnt stopping them eating dry kibble or raw hide chews ;-)

My eldest son was slow with his teeth too.  :-)
