Have you ever thought of changing the forum software to, VBulletin or phpbb or something php? Not that theres a problem with this forum, its just really slow at busy times, which most Perl forums are

You should Email Admin and see what they say. Mind you , if you think THIS is slow you should have seen what it was like a year ago :D :D :D

In view of the size of this board, the sheer amount of posts in a day I doubt that any of the above software would help and certainly in my experience of other boards at least 2 would slow it to a crawl.
