Admin - I think your warning at the top of guests posts (not all of them, I notice) is such a good idea!!
Let's see if we can't throw the trolls over the bridge with this method! - I appreciate its going to be a lot of work for you though!

Just seen it, its a good idea, but how do Admin spot the trolls, some of the posts seem genuine, unless they can trace the source, if so then why not just remove the post ?

Or is it only on newer guest posts?????

If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Yep good idea however it doesn't show up on new posts page so some of these will be answered from there before the warning is spotted.

That's true, it doesn't. It seems to be on the actual Visitors' forum only.

Must be as I see nothing on Active topics which is how I read the forum.

I think it shows if you click on the thread to read it though, Brainless, I use the unread option and it doesn't show on that but I think it shows if I click on the post to reply so that would be when you might pause

Well folks we all know what to do now.
DON'T ANSWER ANY GUEST POST THAT DOESN'T INCLUDE CONTACT DETAILS :D

Ah! I though you were talking about the warning at the head of all visitors questions now, that's another draw back of picking up posts off the unread section

I stay in active topics and click on the unread posts button and it doesn't then show, but just clicked on the whole topic title on a guest post and there is the warning.
Will just ahve to remember to look at who posts a topic, whcih I admit I don't often do I tend to just click on a topic whose title catches my eys.

It doesn't matter because you have to enter the thread if you want to post and you will see it then the reminder is not necessary if you have no intentions of responding
