I've got a 15 week old retriever pup and she is gonna require training in obedience and such like but more to the point im gonna need training to train her!!
Does anyone know of any classes local to me in Nuneaton?
What the average prices and are they worth it?

Nuneaton Canine Society have ringcraft in Nuneaton. Sessions were very cheap when I used to go. I dont have their secretary's phone number but perhaps someone entered the Nuneaton Show at Easter and can give you the number from the catalogue.

I go to Exhall ringcraft but it is only for table dogs I'm afraid.There is one held at the Sky Blue Connexion, Ryton on Dunsmore several times a week by Dave Stevens. Some are ringcraft, some obedience.Can get a number on Thursday if you want or you could phone the connexion direct.

did actually phone the number you gave me above and yes it was tables.....BUT she gave me a number of a ring craft night held in Nuneaton ( town centre),,, sal did her first session last tuesday and she loved it!!!!! me too as there was beer there:)

Unfortunately, the Kennel Club don't actually tell you that in their lists
Could I have the number for the club you attended for future reference?

The Ring Craft in Nuneaton is held at ambleside way, Nuneaton. Its ran by Jenny Hiscox and her Nos 024 76 313283.
It was good but I felt it wasnt really Sals cup of tea. She is a very intelligent "I want to please you" type of dog and gets so much enjoyment doing obedience things.... I taught her to sit, lay down and paw in one 10 min session at home and she never takes her eyes from me waiting for a command.
I still havent got her kc papers, I phoned them this morning. I had an email from her breeder two weeks ago telling me they would be here before fri 26th... Time for small claims court I think;)

If you really want to do something with her, why not have a go at gundog training classes? It's good fun and you don't have to train for the field if you don't want too.
